About
ElmJournalCo collects reference material on native pollinator gardens and backyard biodiversity, written for gardeners working within Canadian regional climates.
The focus is narrow on purpose: native plant selection, the physical structure of pollinator habitat, and the seasonal rhythm of caring for a garden that supports bees, butterflies, and other insects. Articles describe species native to Canadian regions, bloom timing, and practices that can be followed in a typical backyard or balcony.
Articles are written in an informational style and reviewed against publicly available references before publication. Where exact figures are uncertain, the text uses descriptive language rather than invented statistics. Plant names follow common botanical naming, with scientific names included for clarity.
Questions and corrections can be sent through the contact form on the home page or by email at editor@elmjournalco.org.
